‘Rohit Sharma Used To Runaway From Problems Being India’s T20I Captain’. Reetinder Singh Sodhi, a former cricketer, has heaped accolades on Hardik Pandya for inspiring Team India to a surprising 2-1 T20I series victory against Sri Lanka.
Sodhi made note of Pandya’s willingness to put the squad in an awkward situation during the just-completed home series. He noted that the talismanic all-rounder has the potential to be a great leader because of his daring approach.

Speaking to India News Sports, Sodhi said, “I think he has it in him. He is a fearless campaigner. The way he marshaled his resources was wonderful. He’s a guy who’s not afraid to take risks. He is aware that India have struggled in certain areas.”
“He voluntarily put the team in those uncomfortable positions. It shows that he is not running away from problems, but wants to tackle them head-on.”
The series began with an exciting two-run triumph for the Hardik Pandya-led Indian team over Sri Lanka. While they lost the following game by a score of 16 runs, they recovered to win the crucial championship game by a score of 91 runs.
Former keeper-batter Saba Karim brought out India’s strong spin assault during the debate, highlighting players like Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, and Yuzvendra Chahal who are performing well.
But he highlighted how crucial it was for the T20I team to have more wrist spinners. Karim thought that adding Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav to the mix will help the team’s bowling attack even more.

Saba Karim said, “Kuldeep Yadav should be added to India’s T20I team. We already have three very good spinners. Washington Sundar has shown great improvement in both batting and bowling. Axar Patel has also shown how capable he is.”
“Yuzvendra Chahal will get better as you give him more confidence. Wrist spinners play a major role in this format. India should look to develop Ravi Bishnoi and Kuldeep Yadav,” added Saba Karim.
