India batter Shubman Gill has defended his senior and wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant by saying that the latter has absolutely nothing to do with design and actress Urvashi Rautela. A couple of months ago, Urvashi had talked about a mysterious man or woman by calling him ‘Mr. RP’ in the course of an interview with Bollywood Hungama.
In that job interview, Urvashi had outlined that ‘Mr.RP’ was so desperate to meet her at a celebration in New Delhi that there have been 16-17 missed calls from him. The controversial interview was then followed by a social media spat involving the actress and Rishabh Pant as they took oblique digs at each other.

“There is nothing at all from Rishabh Pant’s side. He would not get distracted by her functions. In fact, Urvashi wants somebody to tease her. He does not even care about it,” said Gill whilst speaking to Sonam Bajwa on a chat demonstrating ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’.

Both of those Rishabh and Shubman are now in New Zealand for the ongoing T20I series. The first match at Wellington was forced to be abandoned due to rain and the concentration shifts to the all-critical second recreation that will be performed at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on Sunday, November 20.
