Ramiz Raja News PCB: Hindu Spinner Protects Pakistan Muslim Chief From Media Backlash. In the third and final test in a three-match series at the National Stadium in Karachi, Pakistan is aiming for a consolation win. The Men in Green were defeated by 74 and 26 runs in their first two games in Rawalpindi and Multan, respectively. Danish Kaneria, a former Pakistani spinner, has spoken out in support of Ramiz Raja and claimed that the media is working against the PCB chairman.
Ramiz Raja, the president of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has come under pressure and resignation rumors as a result of Pakistan’s disappointing performance in the Test series. The front-runner to succeed Raja as chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, according to the reports, is Najam Sethi. Due to his disagreements with Imran Khan, Sethi resigned from his position as PCB chairman in 2018.
Ramiz Bhai Knows And Understands Cricket – Danish Kaneria
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Kaneria claimed that Raja was to blame for the Pakistani media’s inability to operate. The former spinner argued that Raja should remain in his position as PCB chairman because he is an experienced former cricketer.

“Ramiz bhai is intelligent. He knows and understands cricket. Give him some time, he’ll do a good job, and he’s already doing that. Pakistani media has a problem with him. They want to remove him,” Kaneria said on his YouTube channel.
“Aapki dukan nahi chal rahi hai kya Ramiz Raja bhai ke hone ke wajah se? (Are you not able to run your business because of Ramiz Raja?) Najam Sethi will come, and your work will resume again?” he added.
Imran Khan, a former prime minister, and cricketer recommended Raja for the position, and Pakistan has fared admirably under his leadership. Raja has held the position since September 2021. The team captained by Babar Azam advanced to the semifinals and finals of the last two T20 World Cups but dropped the home Test series against England and Australia.
There’s No Mistake From The PCB Chairman – Danish Kaneria
Kaneria thinks Raja shouldn’t be held accountable for the unlevel playing fields in Rawalpindi and Multan. The groundsmen have been given the order to set up the pitches appropriately since, according to him, the hosts cannot compete with the opposition on green tracks.

“You’ll get similar wickets in Pakistan’s home series whether Najam Sethi or Ramiz Raja or XYZ is the chairman. Nobody will give you grass because they know our team will fail on those tracks.”
“There’s no mistake from the PCB chairman; it’s Pakistan’s history; groundsmen are told to create supporting tracks. Don’t blame,” Kaneria concluded.
