PAK vs NZ: ‘England Exposed Pakistan, Babar Azam Should Now Become Mature’. After Pakistan’s humbling loss in the three-match Test series against the England National Cricket Team, wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal, 40, of the Pakistan National Cricket Team, slammed skipper Babar Azam.

In the Test series against Pakistan, the Ben Stokes-led England team played their aggressive “Bazball” style of cricket and easily won all three games.

Kamran Akmal praised England for winning the historic Test series in Pakistan in a video posted to his official YouTube page. The wicketkeeper-batter continued to criticize captain Babar Azam, claiming that he made poor decisions throughout the series and lacked any redeeming qualities.

“Any country that wins a series in Pakistan, it’s a big achievement for them. Very big achievement for England. They came after so long, it was a historical series and they made Pakistan history. They told us, ‘we have exposed your cricket, your mentality, your system. Now, you take the decision on how to improve your cricket’. They played their own cricket.

”We know where we made mistakes. Those who made their debut, did they deserve it? Did we play the XI according to the pitch? The captaincy wasn’t perfect. You look at Ben Stokes’ captaincy and Babar’s captaincy… he has been Pakistan’s skipper for so long, at least have some maturity now, and take better decisions. At least make your presence feel in the ground. There was nothing positive about him,” he said.

Played with a negative approach – Kamran Akmal on Pakistan

Babar Azam stated Pakistan dominated the first two games but fell short when it mattered in a press conference following the second Test.

Meanwhile, Kamran Akmal claimed that England was the only team to dominate the Test series while Pakistan played with a “negative mentality.”

“From the first Test till the last day of the series, every time there was a press conference, commentators, and media, everyone was talking about how England dominated Pakistan. No one talked about us, no one praised us because we played with a negative approach,” said the wicketkeeper.

Notably, after being defeated by Australia in Lahore in March, Pakistan’s 0-3 Test series loss to England marked the first time they suffered a home whitewash and their first four straight Test losses.
