When contacted by both newspapers, the BCCI declined to comment.

On Monday morning, Clarke returned to the radio airways with The Big Sports Breakfast, although he barely touched on the violence captured on camera.

Additionally, he made no mention of his commentary work in India, but he did say that he had just been asked to commentate on the next Pakistan Super League T20 tournament.

Yarbrough made a reference to Clarke’s upcoming trip to India in their shouting match, implying that Clarke had asked his ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards to travel with him.

A bystander captured the incident between Clarke and Yarbrough in Noosa, with TV anchor Karl Stefanovic seen attempting to diffuse the situation.

Following the release of the clip, Queensland Police fined Clarke and Yarbrough for causing a public disturbance.

As The Daily Telegraph released the video, Clarke apologized.
