Five of the eight players to score 200 or more in an ODI are Indian, while there are another two.
Gill’s performance against New Zealand was the highest run total by an Indian player in an ODI.

His 208 is the greatest score for India in any format in Gill’s career, and it’s also his fourth century (three in ODIs and one in Tests).
As the innings went on, Gill’s scoring quickened; in just 23 balls, he moved from 150 to 200, surpassing the double-century mark after three consecutive sixes.
