In the fourth innings of the Chattogram Test match against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav of the India National Cricket Team did not impress former Pakistan National Cricket Team leg-spinner Danish Kaneria.
Kuldeep Yadav, who is making his Test debut for India after a long absence of 22 months, put on an amazing all-around display against Bangladesh at Chattogram’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
In the second innings of the game, he claimed a 5-wicket haul by removing Shakib Al Hasan, Nurul Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Taijul Islam, and Ebadot Hossain.

Danish Kaneria criticized Kuldeep for his performance in the match’s fourth innings, when he finished with the statistics of 18-2-69-1 following Day 4, in a video posted on his own YouTube channel. The Indian left-arm wrist-spinner, according to a former Pakistani leg-spinner, missed the rhythm that he had displayed in the second innings.

“He looked fatigued. I think there’s a slight fitness issue. When he’ll be in rhythm, he won’t allow batters to play easily because wrist spinners have a lot of variety. He can do wonders.”
