Shubman Gill Scores Double Century; Leaves Hyderabad Stunned. Shubman Gill left everyone stunned after scoring his maiden double century in ODIs against New Zealand in the first ODI of the 3-match series at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. Gill achieved this feat in his 19th ODI innings and became the youngest batsman to score an ODI double century.

In 87 balls, Shubman Gill completed his third ODI century. 184/4 in 29.3 overs, India’s total versus New Zealand. Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan were added to the starting lineup for India, who made a few adjustments from the last One-Day International against Sri Lanka.

“We will bat first. Looks a good pitch, little dry. We want to make sure we want to bowl under lights and defend score. We did well against Sri Lanka, but this is a different challenge. Important for us to keep the momentum going. The spirit in the team is really good. Three changes. Hardik is back, Shardul is back. SKY and Ishan are playing as well,” Rohit said at the toss.

Shubman Gill reached his third ODI century in 87 balls. In 29.3 overs, India’s total against New Zealand was 184/4. India made some changes to their starting lineup from the previous One-Day International against Sri Lanka, adding Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan.
