Shubman Gill Becomes Fastest Indian Batsman To Score 1000 ODI Runs, 2nd Fastest Overall. Indian opener Shubman Gill has become the fastest Indian batsman to score 1000 ODI runs. Gull achieved the milestone in the first ODI between India and New Zealand which took place on Wednesday in Hyderabad.
Gill also scored his 3rd ODI century in the game and he also became the 2nd fastest batsman overall to reach 1000 ODI runs. Shubman Gill achieved this feat in his 19th ODI innings and is led by only Fakhar Zaman, who achieved the milestone for Pakistan in 18 ODI innings. Gill equaled Imam-ul-Haq on this as the latter had also scored his 1000 ODI runs in 19 innings.
