Rishabh Pant Accident Live: NHAI Blames Rishabh Pant For The Accident, Goes Into War Mode With Uttarakhand CM and DDCA. The road where cricketer Rishabh Pant’s automobile tragically avoided colliding with another vehicle had no potholes, according to a National Highways Authority of India official on Monday.

Pant reportedly told Pushkar Singh Dhami that he crashed his automobile while attempting to avoid a pothole on the road when they first met on Sunday at a hospital in Dehradun.

However, NHAI Roorkee Division Project Director Pradeep Singh Gusain told PTI, “The route where the accident occurred was clear of potholes. Because of a canal (Rajwaha) next to the highway, the section where the automobile collided is somewhat congested. For irrigation, the canal is used.”

Gusain also challenged claims made by the NHAI that the accident area had been cleaned up and the “potholes” repaired, despite the fact that some pictures of reportedly construction workers fixing a portion of the highway went viral late on Sunday night.

Dhami had told the media that Pant had crashed the automobile while attempting to avoid a pothole or some dark object after seeing Pant at the Max Hospital.

Dhami saw Pant in the hospital and claimed to reporters, “He (Pant) said the car drifted across the road while trying to avoid a pothole or something dark.”

According to Shyam Sharma, director of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), who visited Pant on Saturday, the tragedy occurred while the keeper-batter was attempting to maneuver a pothole in the early hours of Friday.

Pant’s pricey car smashed into a road barrier in Roorkee in the Haridwar region at 5.30 am on Friday, causing a tragic accident that left the player seriously hurt but allowed him to escape with only minor wounds.
