BCCI Doesn’t Want India…: PCB Chief Najam Sethi Comes Up With Shocking Allegations On Jay Shah And Roger Binny. The Asia Cup 2023 dispute, which started in October of last year with a bombshell declaration from BCCI secretary and head of the Asia Cricket Council (ACC), Jay Shah, has not yet been resolved by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Najam Sethi, the chairman of the PCB, has now provided a significant update on the situation by providing both the date of the ACC meeting in the Asia Cup dispute as well as the BCCI’s most recent demand.

Jay Shah indicated that such a trip won’t take place before pressing for a change in location in October amid speculations that India would visit Pakistan for the first time in more than ten years. The statement infuriated the PCB, who in response threatened to boycott the ODI World Cup in 2023, which will be staged in India.

Since the beginning of his term, current chairman Najam Sethi has refrained from commenting on the subject in favor of watching for the ACC meeting.
“Finally, we have a date now to meet ACC officials. I will attend ACC’s meeting on February 4 in Bahrain. I am not sure about our stance for now; I will decide it in the meeting, keeping an eye on the situation,” Sethi said.

“BCCI wants Pakistan to travel to India, but BCCI doesn’t want India to play in Pakistan. This is not something new for us,” said Sethi.
The Indian board is willing to host Pakistan for the World Cup but is not willing to visit Pakistan for the Asia Cup, according to Sethi, who also provided an update on the BCCI’s most recent demand about the dispute.
