AUS vs SA: Cameron Green Ruled Out Of The Third Test. According to a statement released by Cricket Australia on Wednesday, Cameron Green will not play in the third and final Test match between Australia and South Africa in Sydney due to a slight fracture to his right index finger.

Anrich Nortje’s quick pass on Tuesday caused Green to sustain an injury, forcing the 23-year-old to depart the match.

Green’s right index finger has a small fracture, according to a statement that CA has now placed on its official website. In the game, Green will be permitted to bat, but they said they wouldn’t let him bowl.

“Green has a slight fracture in his right index finger, according to a Cricket Australia official, and while he will be able to bat again if needed, he will not bowl in South Africa’s second innings.”

“The 23-year-old has also been ruled out of the Sydney Test and will be uncertain to play in the KFC BBL for the Perth Scorchers, with the allrounder facing “a time of recovery coming up to the Qantas Tour of India,” based on the statement.
