Arjun Tendulkar, the son of Legendary Sachin Tendulkar (Popularly referred to as God Of Cricket) is seen attending training sessions for Goa for their domestic seasons. The left-arm pacer will be seen playing for Goa in this domestic season.
Arjun was part of the Mumbai Indians squad but the quality of players Mumbai had in their basket forced the left-arm pacer to warm the bench for MI (Mumbai Indians). Arjun is yet to get the breakthrough he wants that could boost his career and provide him ample opportunities to make a name for himself. Arjun will be in the quest for this big breakthrough as he will be representing Goa.

Arjun Tendulkar To Leave Mumbai
Sachin Tendulkar wants Arjun to play more games as spending more time on the ground will surely benefit his growth as a seasoned cricketer. Tendulkar said, “Getting maximum game time on the ground is important for Arjun at this juncture of his career. We believe that the shift will improve the probability of Arjun featuring in more competitive matches. He is embarking on a new phase of his cricketing career.”
Goa Cricket Association president Suraj Lotilkar mentioned the need for a team and stated that the state team wanted a left-arm pacer. He said, “We are in need of a left-arm pacer and Arjun has shown interest. We generally recruit professionals and if he suits our team’s requirements he will be picked. It is up to our selectors.”
Mumbai chief selector Salil Ankola expressed his thoughts and said that he is hopeful that Arjun Tendulkar will grab this opportunity and will make most of it. He also mentioned that he was saddened to see Arjun not making up to Mumbai XI in last year’s Ranji trophy.

He said, “We picked him for the Ranji Trophy last year but he could not make the XI. He is an extremely talented boy and all he needs is some match time so that he can prove his abilities. I hope this switch will serve that purpose.”
The inclusion in the Goa squad will surely boost their confidence in Arjun. The domestic season starts on September 8 this year but the real inter-state competition that can provide an opportunity for Arjun will be in two months when the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy gets underway from October 11 to 22 (league stage).
With good wishes from his friends and family, we hope that he could pull it big in these upcoming tournaments and we will be able to see him playing for India in near future.
